THE CHILDREN OF DAY AND NIGHT

(EM for January 15, 2021)

PASSION FOR TINNON (WIP Novel 120,000 words)

© Cupideros, October 21, 2006

Storytime Abyssarian Heroes and Heroines:

Bless your children when they reach five years of age.

Do not curse your children with your mouth.

And if you forget to bless them at this age, bless them at nine years old.

And if you forget to bless them at nine years old, bless them at fourteen.

If you forget to bless your children at any of these ages,

It shall be a curse to you and at your judgment in the afterlife.

For there is one life; then, each soul is judged in the scales.

Those souls found wanting of positive weight return to the Earth!

For as your original earthly Mom (Day) and Dad (Night) blessed

Their five children, who became the five earthly races—

So, too, shall you parents bless your children.

–FROM THE 3,500 SAYINGS OF THE LAST PROPHET CE

CHAPTER 51: THE CHILDREN OF DAY AND NIGHT.

© Cupideros, Sunday, June 07, 2009

The first couple did not have children right away. For the Mother and Father, Abyss wanted them to enjoy and understand one another. They watched from behind the Abyss veil and were closer to them than this ink is to paper. But today, the Woman, who is like the Abyss, said that Mother and Father Abyss were never more than a few feet away in a dream, a symbolic sign in the earth, or a whispering voice inside her soul. For what woman received was internally stronger of the two original earth parents. She knew the screams of the trees, Night, the man, chopped down. When Night kicked a stone out of his way to carry the wood for their house, the stone said loudly, “Why kick me out of my place? I am a shade for these ants. And I am a marker for the rabbits to find their home again.” The Man, Night, heard them not. For Night was like the earth. He was intensely practical and understood only what he saw, heard, touched, and smelled—the usefulness of things called to his external power.

Day did her best to replace the kicked stone. She said prayers to ease the deaths of the trees, deer, rabbits, and other creatures like the fish the man, Night, killed for dinner. The woman decided to grow a garden to replenish food taken from the Earth. For she knew all things growing on the Earth lived. She asked the Abyss Mother and Father how to manage their circumstances. She and Night needed to live off the land, and creatures within the Earth. Day’s experiences listening to the world around her increased her appreciation for children. “This is how it shall be,” she said to the green garden snake. I shall take from the Earth to feed my children.”

“How dreadful are our lives?” replied the snake. “I, too, eat flies and other insects. I never thought of them in this light.”

“My children, our children shall fill this earth.” Day cautiously said.

“Your Mother and Father replenish the earth, though.”

“That is my only solace in this adventure, my green familiar.”

“Hey! I thought we agreed on the term ‘friends’”

“Familiar” means something deeper. You know my moods, thoughts, and even some dreams. You are more familiar to me than Night, the Man.”

“That’s an honor to be so considered.”

“If only I could make Night, the Man, familiar too.”

“Give him time,” said the green garden snaked and laughed. “Night’s taken the King and Castle story to heart. He builds like—”

“Hmmm. It would be a good expression if we could finish it. Building like a—”

“I’ll work on it.” The green garden snake crawled out of the peach tree. “Soon, the Abyss shall take me away from you, and we’ll no longer understand one another.”

“Yes. You heard.”

“They said, ‘Woman, she has found someone who understands her, but this is not good. She needs Night, the Man, to understand her.’”

“I’m going to miss you, my familiar. I’ve learned a lot.”

As the green snake crawled away into the deeper grass, she looked back. “I merely voiced your own thoughts. They sort of sounded off the wall of a great cave, like an echo.”

“Same time in this open path spot tomorrow, my familiar?” said Day.

“Who knows? I dreamed, or I picked up your dreaming of the fox on two legs.”

“The dreaded red fox—that was ResistOppeline. Her time is not yet. My children must have many children before then.” Day said as she stopped leaning on the peach tree, “Thank you, Miss Peach Tree.”

“You are always welcome, Sister Day,” said the Peach Tree.

“Remember!” cried the green familiar snake to Day, “It won’t always be this easy. When you have children, and your children have children, and theirs have children—all the voices, thoughts, moods, feelings, questions, and prayers, and concerns will make it harder to hear our original Mother and Father, The Abyss. Sit and be quiet, quiet. Their voices shall return.”

Day waved her friend on. “Stop being melodramatic. My Mother and FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFather have an ear for each thing and person created,” said Day, watching the harmless tail of her green familiar disappear in the brush.

And so it was and went on time by time, the man was called Night by Day because he had black skin. And the woman was called Day, by Night, because she had white skin.

Three months later, Day and Night sat outside and discussed their great dream. “Together we shall fill the earth with our kinds and hues,” said Night.

“Five times shall we do this,” said Day, and we shall wait at least eighteen years between each pair of children.” Day hugged Night and pulled him to sit down on a fallen, already dead log. “In my dream, my belly grew big and big,” she said, holding out both her hands, her fingertips barely touching.

“Can you take that pain?”

“There will be no pain or suffering from it.” Day said with gladness.

“Father and Mother Abyss told you this?”

“Yes,” Day giggled. “It will be fun. They said. A little different routine, more excitement than our now comings and goings.”

“Shall the house be done then?”

“This house is much straighter and stronger than the hut, Night.” She nodded with approval. “You’ve done well. Nine months is a long, long time.”

“And you cook well too, Day.” He held her hand. “We don’t always have to kill or destroy to eat.”

Day responded, “The chicken that The Abyss sent into our garden gives birth, and we can eat some of them when they grow up.”

“We do have to eat,” Night said in a solemn tone.

“Listen, let me tell you how I dreamed: First, we shall have two children, a boy and a girl, with black skin. You shall come into me as I sit on top. I shall wrap my legs around yours and hug closely throughout until midway. Then we shall roll over, and you will be on top, our legs still intertwined. For although you are most logical and less spiritual, we combine our forces. The children shall have such a greater part of the Abyss—they won’t even doubt our Mother and Father exist.” Day grew very excited. “They shall carry, spirituality or religion—I think that was Abyss Father’s word for it—in their very souls. We shall have one son and one daughter. You shall teach them all the logical things.”

“I shall teach them all the logical things—I remember Mother Abyss saying this. You, Day, will teach them all the spiritual things.”

“They will be very small at first, like all our children. No more than two arms full in size.” The day continued. “When they are five, we shall bless them, so they are filled with more spirituality—mysticism—than all the other children we will have. They will not write religion down so much as live it from their souls.”

Night said, “We send them south of this place and shall call them Africans.”

“They shall one day,” Day made a triangle out of her hands. “They shall create three huge monuments showing how all the mansions of the goddesses and gods exist under the Abyss’s roof.”

“A building as tall as that mountain over there,” said Night. “Unbelievable!”

“All our other children for ages and ages shall come and see their work!” They stared at the mountain in awe.

“Night, I remember each of the four other children.” She pulled him close to her and kissed him. “Do not fret if you cannot remember. For I have more of the Abyss in me as my internal power. Listen.

Our next set of children shall be a blend of black and white; they shall be more light but not entirely white. Color of that sunflower, if it were a lot lighter. They have black, straight hair. We shall make love with you on top, but with our legs intertwined. Therefore, these children shall learn unity and love by dealing with things face-to-face. These children, we shall bless them with fifty percent logic and fifty percent spirituality or mysticism. When they turn eighteen, the girl and the boy, we shall send them east, the Far East. They shall walk the Earth until they come to a great, big ocean. There they will see a disk formed from the earth, called a China. They will grow and multiply. Because they have a perfect balance, they shall create the two greatest religions on the Abyss written down. They shall bring how the Abyss changes things in Heaven and Earth through all its complexity and subtlety into printed forms. I Ching, Tao. They will look fondly back on this place. So fondly will they look back over and over; their eyes will eventually stay slanted, for you, Night, have blessed them with the ability to see things far, far away—if they merely squint. Their blessing for creating these books is that their children will grow into a mighty, mighty number. Some will have slightly darker skin from the pale yellow, some lighter. They will settle the east and some islands nearby.”

Our third set of children shall have red or brown tones and wear their hair long.” Day blushed, “In remembrance of me.” She looked at Night’s unemotional face. “Do not be jealous. This boy and girl we shall send west. Because we made love standing up, they shall be great walkers, not only on the earth but also in the spirit worlds. They shall walk across what is Africa, and there they will find a thin stretch of land surrounded by two huge bodies of water. When the water ends, these Native Children shall split, some going south and others going north. They shall be blessed with sixty-percent spirituality and forty-percent logic. I am giving the spiritual blessings, and you, Night, are giving the logical blessings. Since they have learned from me to honor the earth and care for her well, they will have the breadbaskets of the world. For no land shall be blessed with such abundance. Our Native Children, Night, shall be good gardeners and caretakers of the land. They shall call the Abyss ‘Great Spirit’ or other similar names, meaning One God or Goddess over many Gods and Goddesses. They will not write down their religion but will be great speakers and storytellers of true religion. They shall continue to pass spirituality down orally when all our other children have given up.

Our fourth set of children, boy and girl, will be brown and lighter brown. They shall be, too, sent east, but they are to stop before a wide plain of good-grassed land in the middle of the east. Because we spend time talking while making these children, they will be able to transmit their innermost feelings. You shall bless them with twenty percent logic, Night. I shall bless them with twenty percent spirituality. They will also be blessed with sixty percent religion. We shall also bless them with the ability to merge things. They shall form great confederations of peoples, again and again. They shall be great writers, image-makers, and coders of religion and material aspects of life and laws. Everything they write shall be a step down from spirituality to the level where their children can understand it mentally, through words. They will produce an abundance of words on religions, laws, and life. One day, a man in a tree shall teach them many wise things. These children will split early on, and others will move into a land of diverse weather called Nda. These will be the more spiritual of the children from the original Middle Eastern boy and girl descendants. Their religions will hold great imagery.

Our last set of children shall take after my hue. They shall be sent north. They shall have seventy-percent logic and thirty-percent religion. This is so, Night, because they go to a harsh, cold place. They must learn how to coax, even force, the land to give up crops and riches. They have little time to grow things and, therefore, must learn to build what they need to survive off the land. These shall be the last to rise before the great coming of the Abyss, Night. They will carry religion in the back of their brains, nearly forgotten. Only by ritual shall they come to religion. Although, by right, the women of any race will carry more spirituality than men. By stages, repeated patterns, and by watching and visiting their other brothers and sisters on the earth, they shall understand religion. But because you shall be tired and come into me roughly, in a style not entirely appropriate for hugging love, these people shall be warlike, fighting and fighting themselves and fighting their brothers and sisters all the time.

“We shall have no more children?”

“More!” Day shrieked. “Do you know how many children that is already—ten!”

“Ten. Eighteen years between them. Bah!” He responded, irritated. “They won’t hurt you to have any of them. No pain. No suffering.”

“True. But for nine months, I’ll be vulnerable. I’ll need your support and protection, and your safe presence alone will ease my fears.”

“Don’t try to overburden me.” He scoffed. “I haven’t forgotten everything about the Abyss.” He stood up. “I can no more protect you than I can toss that mountain.”

Day stood up and started crying. “You haven’t forgotten. You haven’t!” She hugged him tightly. “We are absolutely vulnerable to everything and anything if our Abyss Mother and Father will it. That is Truth!”

He nodded. “I’m sorry. I guess ten children is enough. We do have to raise them and teach each pair of children what they need best to fulfill their destinies.”

“We shall have more time to ourselves,” Day said.

“Shall we go in and eat—celebrate?” They began walking toward the house, passing the garden.

Day saw a little green garden snake slithering along the tomato patch. The green snake stopped for a second, and her little eyes fixed on Day’s. Day stopped a second. Day almost felt like she knew the little green creature. Day started walking again and returned to her conversation. “One more thing, Night. When I come into my hour of birth, you must be with me. For although there is no pain now if you are not there, our future women children shall have pain when and without children being born.”

“I was told, if our children began having children simply to kill people, then the woman’s childbirth and nonchildbirth life would be painful.”

“And you remember that, Night!”

“How could I not, Day?” he said, surprised. “Neither do I want you to be in any pain, nor do I want our children or their children’s children to be in childbirth in pain.”

“I am glad you will help me in my time.”

“I’ll do whatever you ask. But why are we not to enjoy our children, Day?” He said, grieved. “It is all working, teaching, training, and no playtime to relax.

“I do not know, Night.” She said as they walked back to the house. “We have much to learn about the Abyss, perhaps. We may be their God and Goddess in Heaven and go and prepare a mansion for them. For I have seen inside this triangular mansion of the Abyss. Vast and huge beyond comparison. It cannot be measured or counted in any direction, so immense it is. One mansion can hold as many Earths as the sands of all the beaches or dirt grains on the ground!”

He started to kick a stone away from the door. He stooped, picked it up, and gently placed it to the side. “Day, how have we two come into this fate?”

Day smiled at his kind act. “I don’t know, Night, but is it not a great honor?”

“That it is. That it is!”

THE COMMENTARY:

The Last Prophet C.E. is from the novel Passion for Tinnon. This C.E. is not Cupideros. Cupideros is something else entirely.

One, blessings by the parents, falls under Second Metaphysics. Even as I am enhancing you, you should bless your children.

Be watchful not to curse your children.

1. People accidentally or in a fit of rage curse their children. “You’ll always be stupid!” “You are good for nothing like your dad!” “You have no discipline.” All these negative statements your children will by default, by accident or habit (if the statements are continued for a long time) internalize. They will have to spend hours meditating and unpacking, destroying these old messages in their heads after they grow up.

2. Every race brings something unique to the table of humanity. Do not let any Jews, Arabs, or Christians tell you otherwise!
